World Bump ("we", "our", or "the Service"), accessible via our website https://worldbump.com and our official Discord bot (Application ID: 860533804091179008), is committed to protecting the privacy of our users.

This Privacy Policy transparently outlines what data we collect, why we collect it, how long it is stored, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Discord's Developer Terms of Service and Policy.

🔍 2. Data We Collect

World Bump operates under a strict data minimization principle. We only collect data that is strictly necessary for providing Discord server promotion and bump services:

• User Information: Unique Discord User ID, username, public avatar, and preferred language. When logging in to our web dashboard via Discord OAuth2, your email address may be provided only if explicitly consented to for account management purposes.
• Discord Server (Guild) Information: Discord Guild ID, guild name, public icon URL, custom description submitted by the server administrators, instant invite code generated for the server, bump channel ID, and approximate member count.
• Usage Data: Timestamps of /bump commands executed, bump logs, credit balances, auto-bump settings, and vote rewards (via Top.gg webhooks).
• Payment & Transaction Data: For VIP subscription purchases, all payments are processed securely and encrypted by our payment partner Stripe. World Bump never collects, processes, or stores credit card numbers or sensitive banking details.

🚫 3. Data We DO NOT Collect (Discord Compliance)

• NO Message Content: World Bump operates 100% via Discord Slash Commands (/bump, etc.) and interactive UI buttons. We do not read, intercept, monitor, store, or process any message content, text messages, or chat attachments.
• NO User Presence or Activity: We do not track and cannot view member presence statuses (online/idle/dnd), games played, Spotify activity, or rich presence.
• NO Private Server Member Rosters: We do not scrape, index, or download member lists or personal member profiles from your servers.
• NO AI / Machine Learning Training: None of the data collected is ever used, sold, shared, or provided to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

🎯 4. Purpose of Data Processing

The data we collect is exclusively used for the following operational purposes:

• Operating the automated and manual server promotion network (/bump).
• Enforcing cooldown timers (30-minute intervals) and delivering user-requested bump reminder notifications.
• Managing credit balances earned by users and guilds.
• Displaying public server listings on the World Bump discovery directory.
• Preventing spam, abuse, duplicate submissions, and fraudulent voting activities.

🔒 5. Data Storage, Security & Retention

All collected data is stored securely in MongoDB databases protected by strict firewall policies and encrypted connections (TLS/SSL).

Server data is retained as long as World Bump remains in the Discord server or as long as the server is listed. If a server removes the bot or executes /stop-bump, automated broadcasts cease immediately. Expired bump logs are routinely purged.

In accordance with the GDPR and applicable data protection legislation, you retain the following rights:

• Right of Access & Rectification: You can review and edit your server details anytime from your dashboard.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): You may request permanent deletion of all data associated with your Discord user ID or Discord server at any time.
• Right to Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by stopping bot usage, toggling off reminders, or removing World Bump from your guild.
